When we die our body is gone, but our spirit lives on. And that spirit has one of two permanent resting places...heaven or hell. And they are real. It’s why He came....that
we may have eternal life in Him, in heaven...that resting place that God has chosen for us. Why would Jesus come to save us if we all were going to go to heaven? (quoted from todays.. 'Our Daily Bread')
There is no gloom and doom in this
post..that's the world, not my life. Although we are bombarded by sad or bad news..we can take comfort in knowing
We can have life everlasting.. BUT... IT IS A GIFT, AND A CHOICE..
No matter what the world does, our
Lord and savior has a plan for us..all we have to do is follow that plan.
Stay strong in your faith, His word written in the bible gives us the instructions for an abundant life and a promise for our here after..
Yes, the
road may be a struggle at times, but knowing we have Him holding us up, is our comfort and peace.
'We need to get through the hard parts to get to the good parts' (a quote from Joyce Meyers teachings). 'She also said, God always
makes wrong things right !! IF, we trust him and handle things the right way.'
How we respond to things is important.
She went on to say in this particular teaching...that,
The word of God is like a mirror, we can make
a bigger deal of not getting our way, causing a more stressful life.
We need to get a sweet attitude , know God has the right plan for us, stay with his word and plan and a lot of suffering can go away.
Whatever
God is trying to do in your life today even if you don't understand it, DON'T run away from it, trust God to do what he wants you to do, so you can have the life he wants you to have.
At times we all feel like giving up, but, God won't
let you. KEEP GOING. " Trust the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own uderstanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him; And He shall direct your paths." Proverbs 3:5-6
I really appreciate Joyce Meyers, down to earth way
of teaching. She is helping me, especially at this time, being isolated, and not able to be with family, friends, church family. Knowing the pain and suffering many of my friends and some family members are going through, is hard.
I'd like to give them
hugs and just to comfort them, but I will stay strong and keep the faith, praying and ask God for his mercy and grace in their needs. Communicate with others the best way I can, phone calls, emails, texts, letters, cards..(I like sending cards, it is much
more personal.)
Isaiah 54:17.." No weapon formed against you shall prosper"..
Keep this prophets words in your heart to help calm any fears you may have, knowing and seeing what is going on around America and
the world. The enemy is hard at work, trying to discourage and destroy us.
He is the thief that comes to destroy ..don't allow him to enter your heart and mind..don't allow that door to open..
God is our rock and our stronghold..
"This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it." Psalm 118:24
Have a JESUS FILLED DAY!
