In these trying times we are experiencing too much fear..tossed at us by the
state of the political world we are living in now. It's hard to stay positive with so much negativity being aired at us daily. But, we have a choice !
Lets choose to trust in God in spite of feeling afraid.
"I will not Fear"! We have been given the spirit of power, love, and a sound mind.2 Timothy 1:7
These are the words to keep in our minds continually..We have God's unconditional LOVE..
Being set free from
fear doesn't mean the affects of that fear will disappear immediatley..but we can know that we can control it because God is with us. When you feel fear ...confront it! "If God is for us, who can stand against us" Romans 8:31
Storms in our lives come up often and many times with hurricane forces. Our faith is especially for those times. The things we fear can cause the problems we end up facing..Let go, and let God handle it.
Yesterday I watched an old movie..1939...with
John Barrymore as Dr.Gillespe and Lou Aires as Dr. Kildare.. A statement made in the movie, hit home in regard to these days of trauma and stress.
Dr.Gillespe line in the movie was, "fear has killed more people than the disease they are
fearing".."Even good doctors forget that fear is the tyrant...people can acquire results of any disease they are fearing.
I thought about that, how timely it is during this pandemic..I wonder how many people have been sick because of what
they fear.. It's hard to get TRUE facts and numbers because of the politics envolved..what a shame and poor state of affairs we are in...
Most of the following statements are from Joyce Meyers daily program..She is right
on the subject of fear in these times..and for all reasons.
"I will not fear". Fear is a denomic spirit, not from God, it is meant to keep you from moving forward..
Keep this in mind.."I'm not what I use to be,
but I'm better than I was".
You have not because you ask not..James 4:2-3
Ask God for what you want and then thank God for giving
you what you NEED.
When you feel fear of something,
confront it.."if God is for you who can be against you .." Romans 8:31
FAITH is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.
Psalm46:10 "Be still and know that I am God.
Faith comes from hearing and hearing through the word of Christ,
