What does it take in hard times

If this little flower and survive between a rock and a hard place we can too!  (click on picture to  enlarge)

What does it take to maintain hope in harsh times?

Keep praying for our President and our country.. He needs strength and support now more than ever.

Watching. Waiting. Praying. Remembering.

Father, You’ve promised to be an anchor for our hearts when circumstances look discouraging. Help us call out to You in faith and hope, believing that You hear our hearts. ( this is a paragraph from "Our Daily Word" publication)

These are unsettled times, but we've gone through them before.

I remember as a child hoping and praying for a certain gift at Christmas. There were times I received what I was hoping and praying for and other times I did not.  But that did not change my attitude of prayer, hope, and faith in what the future could hold for me the next Christmas.

Those were a child's dreams, as an adult, we still need to maintain that attitude of hope, prayer, watching, waiting, remembering.  Our God is always in control no matter what the situation may be at the time, "these times."

Many politicians are groups of people that are continually in disagreement with the other side!. We're hit with a barrage of discouraging information, as to why this person or that party will destroy our country.  We need to be in control of our thoughts and actions as we listen to the onslaught of BAD news.

We live in the greatest country in the world, blessed by God many times over and over again.  When we remember to keep God first, family and career in that order. He is pleased and blesses us.

Are we being punished for the sins of our newest laws and allowances, that go against His will?  Maybe, but I have faith that we will get our priorities straight and once again be the "Christian" nation God blessed. He loves us and wants the best for us. We have leaders trying to renew this nation as the greatest on earth and depend on our God to help us.

My wish is that we return to God's will and keep watching, praying and remembering the HOPE we have in our Savior.

Spread the good news and always be kind to all..that is a wonderful gift to give..Love your neighbor as you love yourself..the golden rule, 'do unto others as you would have them do unto you..

Times have been and are hard right now..Franklin D.Rossevelt made this statement during a world crisis in his time.

"When you come to the end of your rope tie a knot & hang on."

Continue to pray..for wisdom,  discernment, God's will to be done..

This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it.  Psalm 118:24
