IS ALMOST HERE.....The first day of Spring arrived today, March 20th..
PLAN ON SWEEPING OUT THE COBWEBS.
make it a mental-SPRING CLEANING!
I usually end my posts with "This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it." Psalm 118:24.
It's the perfect verse to start the day, before hearing the negative news and people around you start to dampen your day. I will start greeting everyone at the beginning of my posts this way instead.
Let go and let God, I know, you've heard that before. You may think it's not easy to do, but actually, it can be. When you do you will find a more relaxed state of mind, ready
to face the day's challenges.
When those challenges come about lift your mind and present those thoughts to God. He will give you peace
and courage to face or change what is going on. Try it, you may find how well it works for you.
Trust in Him one day at a time, it will keep you close to Him, it will keep you responsive to His will.
Trust is not a natural response, especially
to those who have been deeply wounded.
Exert your will to trust Him in all circumstances. Don't let your need to understand distract you from His presence. He will equip you
to get through the day victoriously.
Tomorrow is busy worrying about itself; don't get tangled up in a worry-web.
TRUST THE LORD ONE DAY AT A TIME.
What a comforting thought and an activity that should be done on a regular basis. Relax knowing God is in control.
Shut out the noises of
the world, close your eyes and let your mind take you to an event or place that brought great joy.
Let go and let God...practice this and find those hard challenges are easier or gone.
Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Savior. "Habakkuk 3:18
your neighbor as yourself.
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
Lord, no matter my circumstances, help
me to find joy in you.
Greet each day with thanksgiving.
