germs away from you? Changing seasons, can bring...flu, colds and allergies.. take heart there is help !
Unfortunately we have become too dependent on man made medicines to help us when we are ill.
This is a re-write of the previous article, to remind everyone of some of the natural remedies that can be used while we're in the midst of the changing seasons.
Summer, fall, winter can bring their own mix of health problems. Right now, we welcome Spring ...with it's beauty and sorry to say, 'allergies'.
A few years ago ( 5 to be exact) when I visited my sister in Florida It was my blessing to be there while (sorry to say) my friends and family suffered in the below zero weather, the changing season brought respiratory misery to some anyway.
While traveling I take precautions by taking extra vitamin C..called
Airbourn...to boost my immune system while on a plane and in very close quarters. I also remembered to take my cinnamon and honey drink while in Florida. I knew that my sister was just getting over a bad cold and I didn't want to take the chance that
the germs were still lingering in and around her home..
(This was her 70th birthday and I flew down to surprise her...Oh yes..she was very surprised! see
the picture below..)
Along with using these recipes, it's a good idea to carry antiseptic wipes with you. At home wipe down your phone, TV remote,
handles of the refrigerator, toilet handle etc. I used them on the seat arms and tray table on the plane .. If you're in a profession, where you handle money..make sure to use the wipes often in public places. And, of course, the best tip...WASH YOUR HANDS
often !!! You don't want to recycle the germs..you want to KILL them..

Remember the song from Mary Poppins.."A spoon full of sugar makes the medicine go down"? Well, this is a much better and tastier way to solve some illness problems. Instead of taking some nasty tasting
medicines, try the following formula for some ills that are listed below.
Honey is the only food on the planet that will not spoil
or rot. What it will do is what some call 'turning to sugar'. In reality, honey is always honey. However, when left in a cool dark place for a long time it will "crystallize". When this happens to loosen the lid, boil some water and sit the honey
container in the hot water, but turn off the heat and let it liquefy naturally. It is then as good as it ever was. Never boil honey or put it in a microwave. This will kill the enzymes in the honey.
Cinnamon and Honey
Bet the drug companies won't like this one getting around. Facts on Honey and Cinnamon:
It is found that a mixture of honey and Cinnamon cures most
diseases. Honey is produced in most of the countries of the world. Scientists of today also accept honey as a 'Ram Ban' (very effective) medicine for all kinds of diseases. Honey can be used without side effects for any kind of diseases.

When throat has a tickle or is raspy, take one tablespoon of honey and sip until gone. Repeat every three hours until throat is without symptoms.
Daily in the morning one-half hour before breakfast and on an empty stomach, and at night before sleeping, drink honey
and cinnamon powder boiled in one cup of water. When taken regularly, it reduces the weight of even the most obese person. Also, drinking this mixture regularly does not allow the fat to accumulate in the body even though the person may eat a high-calorie

The answer is...yes cinnamon is good for controlling diabetis...go on the internet and
google " Cinnamon and Diabetes"..brings up a great article regarding the use of cinnamon regarding diabetes.
