OUR PURPOSE IN LIFE...

You are here for a reason and the most important thing you can do in life is to find, live, and share your purpose. It's the one
thing in life that truly matters and if you don't pursue it. everything else is meaningless."

--Jon Gordon

Good words and advice to remember and put to use.  In life, we encounter many obstacles and need those bridges to get to the other side.  Cross over to the real purpose in your life.

I am suggesting the book "THE PURPOSE DRIVEN LIFE"  by Rick Warren

it is a good roadmap to help find the real purpose in life...he starts the book saying...

IT ALL STARTS WITH GOD

"For everything,  absolutely everything, above and below, visible and invisible....started in him and finds it's purpose in him"  Colossians 1:16

"Unless you assume a God, the future of life's purpose is meaningless."

Bertrand Russel, Atheist

How interesting is this statement made by an atheist... !

We search for meaning in the things we do and try for successes on our own. We are given many talents to use, the tough part is focusing on them, zeroing in on one that leads us to our real purpose and the satisfaction of a fulfilling life.

"SHARING"..is a wonderful word.  It brings happiness to the receiver and the giver as well.  Sharing takes many forms,  it can be monetary, or intellectual. The past experiences you encountered along life's path can be a guideline to hurting and needy people.  Young and old alike.

'THROUGH MANY DANGERS, TOILS AND SNARES I HAVE ALREADY COME.  'TIS GRACE HAS BROUGHT ME SAFE THUS FAR, AND GRACE WILL LEAD ME HOME.

John Newton, 1725-1807

Young people need to know there is a bright future for them, by staying on the right and straight road, using their God-given talents

"You can take no credit for beauty at sixteen.  But if you are beautiful at sixty, it will be your own soul's doing."  Marie Carmichael Stopes

"It's not what you were, it's what you are today."  David Marion

Elderly people can be happy about of the light they have given to guide others on life's journey, by the example of their purpose driven life.

"We are not yet what we shall be, but we are growing toward it"

                                                                                         Martin Luther

"This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it"

                                                                                                       Psalm 118:24

P.S.  My next posting is called "A work of Art"..  we all are unique! There is only one of us made !!!  God has a purpose for each one of His special creations..   I will finish and post it before the end of the week.. Hope you look for it...

Blessings !
